Inline Electrical Test

The later an electrical fault is found, the more it costs.

Insulation, high-voltage withstand, continuity, function. Electrical testing often sits at the end of the line, where every faulty unit has already absorbed material, labor and machine time. We integrate electrical testing into assembly itself. Each sub-assembly is tested where it is built, results are tied to its serial number, and failures are diverted before the next step. Test at the station. Ship with documented results.

What you get

From raw body to finished assembly.
One team answers for all of it.

01

Verification

Sub-assemblies are tested before they are combined, so faults are detected before additional value is added.

02

Throughput

Tests run within the station cycle time. No separate test line, no buffer.

03

Safety

Hipot and insulation tests run in guarded, interlocked stations.

04

Traceability

Every measurement is stored under its serial number and available for audits and claims.

High Speed Assembly & Inspection Cells

Modular Solution

Test where the part is built, not at the end of the line. The Modular Solution is made for assemblies with few individual parts, and a small rotary indexing table gives it room for further steps such as welding or camera inspection, so assembly and checking happen in one system. Cam-driven handling places each part exactly where it belongs, and the compact frame drops into an existing production line. For more stations around one central drive there is OKUMAT, for longer process chains the linear Transfer Solution.

Discover all High Speed Assembly Systems

Up to 300 parts a minute, and every one of them exactly where it belongs. Explore the high-speed assembly systems that turn many small components into finished products at a pace most lines never reach.

System Upgrades

Testing belongs at the station, and a station can be added. System Upgrades extend an existing machine with additional stations, processes or capacity: new products, higher volumes, changed process steps. You stay flexible without investing in an entirely new system. If the control is what holds the line back, there are System Retrofits.

Our Process

One team from first sketch to a line that runs.

A process that has proven itself. One team plans, engineers and commissions your machine, and hands it over turnkey, ready to run, in the shortest possible time.

01

Planning

Concept, material flow and scope, defined with you before the first drawing is released.

02

Engineering

Mechanics, controls and process, designed as one system and simulated before the build.

03

Realization

Build, installation and commissioning at your plant, then handed over ready to run.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which processes can run on an OKUMAT?

Press-fitting, screwing, crimping, riveting, welding, dispensing, marking, camera inspection and leak or function testing. Assembly and verification run on the same machine, in the same cycle.

Can you add stations to a machine that is already running?

Yes. We extend existing machines with additional stations, processes or capacity. Preparation runs in parallel to production, and installation is scheduled into your planned shutdowns.

Can the Modular Solution be added to an existing line?

Yes. Its compact frame is designed to fit into running production lines, upstream or downstream of existing machines.

Still have questions? Get in touch with our support team and we'll
discuss your unique requirements.

How is every unit verified?

Inspection is part of the process, not a step after it. Each unit is checked in the line, and the result is stored against the part. Nothing moves to the next station without a pass.

What traceability do you provide?

Every part and batch is documented through the process: which station, which parameters, which result. Traceability is configured to your requirements, down to part and batch level.

Can our MES receive the production data?

Yes. Process data, results and serial numbers are available through OPC UA as standard. Other protocols and direct MES interfaces are configured to your IT landscape.

Which interfaces do you support?

OPC UA as standard, plus PROFINET, MQTT and direct database or MES interfaces. Data structures are agreed with your IT and quality teams during planning.

Can the Modular Solution inspect as well as assemble?

Yes. A small rotary indexing table adds room for further steps such as welding or camera inspection, so the part leaves the machine assembled and checked.

Are your machines CE marked?

Yes. Every machine for the European market is built on a documented risk assessment and ships with CE marking and a declaration of conformity. From January 20, 2027, this follows the new EU Machinery Regulation 2023/1230. For North America, we build to the applicable electrical and safety standards on request.

discuss your unique requirements.

Can you test our parts before we place an order?

Yes. For critical joining, machining or inspection steps, we run feasibility trials with your sample parts. You see the result before you commit to the machine.

What do you need from us to prepare an offer?

Part drawings or CAD data, annual volume, target cycle time, number of variants and your quality requirements. Sample parts help. With this, you receive a technical concept and budget price within two to three weeks.

How long does a project take from order to acceptance?

Systems based on our standard platforms typically take six to nine months. Complex lines with machining, assembly and inspection take nine to fourteen months. The binding schedule is part of every offer.
