From raw body to finished assembly.
One team answers for all of it.
Sealing
Every housing is leak-tested after sealing, helping keep moisture-related failures out of the field.
Function Test
Signals, outputs and communication are checked before the unit is closed.
ESD Protection
Electronics are handled in ESD-protected stations from first placement to final test.
Traceability
Every unit carries its components, process data and test results under one serial number.
We deliver the system.
You operate it.
High Speed Assembly & Inspection Cells

Place, join, seal, test: a control unit passes through a long sequence before it is closed, and the sequence has to repeat exactly. The Transfer Solution is our linear assembly system for long process chains, built on a rugged welded base frame. Hardened cams drive the station movements and the chain indexing in exact synchronization, which is where the repeatability comes from. For assemblies with few individual parts there is the compact Modular Solution, for more stations around one central drive OKUMAT.
Discover all High Speed Assembly Systems
Up to 300 parts a minute, and every one of them exactly where it belongs. Explore the high-speed assembly systems that turn many small components into finished products at a pace most lines never reach.

Custom Solutions & Retrofit

When a unit has its own housing, its own seal and its own test sequence, the machine around it should be just as specific. We start with the concept, work through the material flow layout and the control concept, and end with a machine cut to your product and your process. It is assembled from proven building blocks such as axis modules, machining units and automation components, so even a one-off machine runs for years. If a proven platform can carry your process, see System Solutions.

One team from first sketch to a line that runs.
A process that has proven itself. One team plans, engineers and commissions your machine, and hands it over turnkey, ready to run, in the shortest possible time.

Concept, material flow and scope, defined with you before the first drawing is released.

Mechanics, controls and process, designed as one system and simulated before the build.

Build, installation and commissioning at your plant, then handed over ready to run.
When is a linear transfer system better than a rotary one?
When the process chain is long, the part is large or many stations are needed. A linear layout gives each station space and access, and leaves room to add steps later.
Can stations be added to a Transfer Solution later?
Yes. The welded base frame can be planned with reserve positions, so new process steps are added without rebuilding the machine.
Which processes can run on an OKUMAT?
Press-fitting, screwing, crimping, riveting, welding, dispensing, marking, camera inspection and leak or function testing. Assembly and verification run on the same machine, in the same cycle.
Can you build to our internal machine specifications?
Yes. Your specification sheet, preferred component suppliers and plant standards are part of the design from the first concept. Deviations are agreed in writing before the build, not discovered at acceptance.

discuss your unique requirements.
How is every unit verified?
Inspection is part of the process, not a step after it. Each unit is checked in the line, and the result is stored against the part. Nothing moves to the next station without a pass.
What traceability do you provide?
Every part and batch is documented through the process: which station, which parameters, which result. Traceability is configured to your requirements, down to part and batch level.
Can our MES receive the production data?
Yes. Process data, results and serial numbers are available through OPC UA as standard. Other protocols and direct MES interfaces are configured to your IT landscape.

discuss your unique requirements.
Can you test our parts before we place an order?
Yes. For critical joining, machining or inspection steps, we run feasibility trials with your sample parts. You see the result before you commit to the machine.
How long does a project take from order to acceptance?
Systems based on our standard platforms typically take six to nine months. Complex lines with machining, assembly and inspection take nine to fourteen months. The binding schedule is part of every offer.
How long are spare parts available?
Every machine ships with a spare parts list and a recommended stock for your site. We keep wear parts available and support our machines with spare parts for at least ten years.
